Japfest is a well-known Japanese car festival in multiple countries around Europe. You can enjoy this event in the Netherlands twice a year. This post is taking you back to the event held at the (to be reopened for F1) Zandvoort Circuit in 2019. We love some Suzuki Swift spotting at Japfest Zandvoort.
JapFest
Every year car clubs for many different brand and models get together to show their pride and joy. Accompanied by a wide range of activities organised around the Zandvoort track. Car limbo, show & shine and rev battles are fun to watch. For track junkies there is the opportunity to put your car to the test and race it some rounds around the track. The popular time attack slots show the more serious builds and racers. And the the drag races start, the crowds get together at the main stage to see who’s fastest on the straight.
At an event like JapFest the usual suspect get most of the attention. Supra’s, Skylines, Evo’s and Subies are present in large numbers. But there is a lot more to see if you are open for it. Look closer and enjoy hatchbacks, classic cars and VIP styled imports. The same goes for Suzuki Swift spotting at Japfest Zandvoort.
Swift spotting
I went with the Suzuki Maniacs club and members from the Suzuki Swift Forum Facebook group joined as well. The result was a big group of Suzuki Swifts from all nearly generations. I’m a big fan of the Suzuki Ignis Sport (ht81s), which in Japan is referred to by the name Swift Sport as well. So a day with a big variety in Suzuki Swifts in. many shapes and forms. Below some footage of the Suzuki Swifts at Japfest Zandvoort, and a very small selection of other nice cars as a bonus.
