So, after mounting my summer wheels Ive been running around free of any issues until last week. I went from 6.5’s to 7.5’s with a lower ET and used the same 195/50 Toyo tyres. A hump in the road that I took with quite some speed caused a loud noise and burning smell in the cabin. Turns out the rear arches were kissing the sidewall of my rear tyres. I’ve considered putting the car a little lower because the slight stretch increased the gap between the tyre and arch a little. Guess I need some more stretch before I can make that happen…
